Be sure that you know when and where your test day is going to be so that you can get there a little bit early. To ensure test day is smooth sailing, there are some things to keep in mind. While the process of getting here has probably been pretty stressful, you’ll want to make sure that test day is as easy as possible. You’ve studied, prepared, reviewed, and now you’re ready to get that goal score on MCAT test day. Feel free to PM me if you ever want to talk. You’ve done it. Don’t give up on your dreams just because life gifted you the pleasantries of chemical imbalances. That feeling of accomplishment when you make it through is going to be even more amazing now so there’s that to look forward to.īest of luck to you. Keep pushing, challenge yourself, and better yourself. Like I said in my post be proud that you’re even at this point. Don’t let the pressure of time weigh you down, everyone runs on their own schedule. Do what’s best for you, everyone has their own path to take. People might give you a feeling of shame but they can get lost- this premed path is extremely stressful and no one but other premeds can truly understand. Taking this year off might mean the difference between a low tier to a higher tier school. Plus you should take the time not only to better your MCAT but to better your ECs. At least now you know what triggers you and you have the time to learn how to manage your anxiety in a healthy way. Imagine you held it together until right before interviews or in med school? That would be awful. Take this time to get healthy, improve yourself, and arm yourself with the tools necessary to manage stress and anxiety. Nothing is more important than your mental and physical health. try your best not to and look at it as a blessing that you had to take a really twisted and weird road to get to. If you’re anything like me you’ll think at some point postponing was a mistake. I’m so sorry to hear what you are going through. /r/GAMSAT - Australian & UK Medical school Admission Test.P/S = Psychological, Social, and Biological Foundations of Behavior (Tentative) AAMC Sample FL Score ConversionĬ/P = Chemical and Physical Foundations of Biological SystemsĬARS = Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skillsī/B = Biological and Biochemical Foundations of Living Systems # Correct -> Scaled Score Converter for AAMC Material These posts will be removed and the user banned without warning, subject to the discretion of the mod team Learn MoreĪll of the above rules are subject to moderator discretion High Yield MCAT Links You have signed an examinee agreement, and it will be enforced on this subreddit.ĭo not intentionally advertise paid or free products or services of any sort.
